Being one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2012 it is no surprise that the rumors surrounding the release of Billa 2 never cease. Various websites have been floating the news that the movie is slated for a June 8th release while some say June 22nd. However our sources say that the movie is targeted for release on the 15th of June 2012 as Billa 2 in Tamil and as David Billa in Telugu simultaneously.

Keeping this release date in mind the month of June will be a festival of sorts for all Thala and Tamil cinema fans as the promotions kick off with the release of the trailer in the first week of June and most probably it will be on June 1st, as per unconfirmed sources. This will be followed by a flood of promotions as never seen before for a Thala movie. Also in the pipeline is the release of a calendar showcasing the hot and happening actresses of Billa 2, Bruna and Parvathy which is sure to set temperatures rising.

For those who thought that the digital poster contest was forgotten. The results are expected to be out tomorrow.

To the Telugu fans out there, the audio launch is planned for the 26th of May as confirmed by the distributor and music maestro Yuvan himself. Get ready to bounce!
